VOLUNTEER

Healthy Waltham’s food pantries rely on the assistance of our amazing volunteer crew. We couldn’t do this work without them! Volunteers help to unload food from delivery trucks, sort and bag foods and distribute food to our neighbors–both on pantry days and also by making deliveries to community members unable to attend pantries in person.

Volunteer shifts are generally 2-4 hours in length and most activities are outdoors (rain or shine). Volunteers are mainly needed at our Thursday pantries and monthly Saturday satellite pantries. Delivery drivers may also be needed though our partner, Waltham Mutual Aid. This role involves picking up a box and delivering it to a residential address.
